We recently featured on the BBC’s Rip Off Britain, telling the story of recovering £29,500 for Refundee customer Inderjit Kambo. (Pictured Above)
He was the victim of phone theft, however, as he was on a call at the time, the thieves were able to use his unlocked phone to transfer £29,500 out of his savings account.
He complained to his bank, but they refused to help, stating that it was an authorised transaction. This was because the thieves used his phone to change the facial recognition, swapping his face for their own and hacking into their account.
He then instructed Refundee to fight the case on his behalf. After successful representation from Refundee, we were able to get his money back.
