Refundee is currently helping people who invested in Aquila to recover their money from their bank. Refundee’s understanding of happened: 

Aquila Property Sourcing and Aquila Apartments and Management (Aquila Investments) sought out client’s in the property circuit and advertised for investors on Facebook. The company said that it was investing in social housing and had numerous contracts with London Councils to provide emergency housing for those in need. The company has since gone into administration and while the overall losses are currently unclear, Refundee has been told they could be in the millions. 

Since Aquila Investments went into administration, there have been serious allegations of fraud including allegations that the contracts they said they had with councils never actually existed. 

When you are a victim of fraud you should have protection in place from your bank. However, so far the banks have been denying investors refunds and we believe that they were wrong to do so.
