Buy2Let Cars, PayGo Cars, Raedex trading as Wheels4Sure and Rent2Own Cars Investment Scheme

Refundee can help people who invested in the Buy2Let Cars/ Raedex scheme to recover their money from their bank. We have been contacted by a number of people and we have started to work with them, to recover their money.

We believe that the chances of recovering the money for people who lost money to this investment are good, and we want to make people aware of their options. You may be aware that the SFO has charged the directors for fraud

What happened?

Buy2Let cars purported to arrange a car hire scheme for people with poor credit ratings. Investors were invited to lease vehicles to the customers and were to receive generous returns for doing so. The car hire company attached was Wheels4Sure. Buy2Let Cars carried out regulated activities without an FCA license. One entity in the group (Raedex Consortium) did have an FCA license but has since had a number of restrictions imposed on it.

Despite its initial perceived success, everything eventually fell apart, resulting in significant financial losses for investors.

Can you get your money back?

Most banks have signed up to something called the Contingent Reimbursement Code (CRM) and we think most people should be covered by this. Unfortunately, banks are currently denying people refunds using exclusion clauses under the Code, that we do not feel are fair or should apply.

Therefore, we are currently helping people who’ve lost out to fight the banks’ decisions to deny reimbursement. To be eligible for our help, you’d need to have paid the money via UK Transfer on or after 28 May 2019 which is when the CRM came into force.

How can Refundee help?

Firstly, it’s the right thing to acknowledge that you can do this process yourself. Of course, doing it yourself can avoid having to incur a fee.

If you would like our help, then you can Start Your Claim on our website. We will then investigate your case, let you know whether we can help, put together your case, and manage the process from beginning to end. Our fees are fair, industry-lowest, and straightforward. We only charge a fee if we’re successful, and there are no hidden or upfront costs. Read more about them here.

We manage each case individually; however, the more victims who get in touch with us, the better. By building detailed knowledge of what happened, we can use that information across everyone’s case to improve their chances of success. This way, everyone benefits.

How would the process work?

Refundee manages everything for you. We begin with an investigation to understand what happened in your specific circumstances. After some paperwork, we handle your case from start to finish, working with your bank through to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

These cases can take around 6-12 months, although the process can vary in terms of duration.

Who are Refundee?

Refundee are fraud refund specialists, and you can read about what our previous customers have said about us on Trustpilot. We’ve had good success in previous group cases, even when victims have been told by their banks that they’re not able to get a refund.
